X 142b wäre the nichtpalatale guttural through influence of ɫ bedingt, whereupon also Pol. żeɫw, żoɫwica (*geluu̯ü) besides zeɫw, zoɫwica (*ĝeluu̯ü) “ sister of Mannes” hinweisen sollen; compare though das under ĝhel- about bSlav. gel- “yellow” Ausgefũhrte. Ein Gk. conservative stem *γάλω[u̯]-ς hat Ü bertritt (only the case oblique) in die o-Decl. erfahren; in Slav. lies ein older ū-stem zьly, gen. zъlъve, before, the with Lat. glōs compared become could.
